Faculty And Staff Services
Dear Faculty and Staff,
We want to partner with you to meet the needs of ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø students. Our goal is to keep you informed of employers visiting campus, be available for class presentations on career-related topics, offer career-related materials to supplement your course, and serve as the point of contact when you are contacted by an outside employer.
We encourage you to refer students to the University Career Center for assistance in any of the following areas: finding a job (on or off campus), internships, refining their job search documents, researching a career path, or applying to graduate/professional school.

Don’t Cancel That Class!
If you're planning to be out of town for a conference or off-campus meeting, don’t cancel your class – instead, invite the University Career Center to be your guest speaker for the day. We’ll provide a 45 or 60-minute career-readiness workshop while you're away.
Here’s how it works:
- Choose a workshop from the list below and email Claudia P. Dominguez at cpdominguez@utep.edu with the following details:
- Date and time of the presentation
- Room number/location or platform used and link
- Topic you'd like us to cover
- Number of students in your class
- We require a minimum of five business days' notice for requests. For classes or presentations after 5:00 pm, please provide seven business days' notice.
- All workshops last approximately 45 minutes (we can extend to 90 minutes if needed). When a presenter comes to your class, they’ll take attendance and provide you with the information.
