M.S. in Aerospace Engineering
The M.S. in Aerospace Engineering degree program at ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø will prepare students in the areas of Aerodynamics, Propulsion, Aerostructures, Aerospace dynamics and controls, and Aerospace systems engineering and design.
Some unique focuses of the program are: defense, small satellite, propulsion systems, exploration vehicles, autonomous systems, and hyper sonics.

MS Aerospace Engineering Thesis Option – The thesis option requires students to complete and 15 hours of major elective courses. Students will complete six additional hours of other electives followed by a sequence of thesis courses and .
MS Aerospace Engineering Non Thesis Option – The non thesis option, requires students to complete and 15 hours of major elective courses. Additionally students will complete 12 hours of additional graduate courses.
Admission Requirements
Applicants are expected to have a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. Depending upon selected area of concentration, students may need to complete deficiency undergraduate coursework.
- An official transcript, with the four-year baccalaureate degree posted, from the degree-granting institution and copies of transcripts for all other relevant upper-division and graduate work at accredited U.S. institutions or equivalent work and degrees at foreign institutions.

Applicants whose degrees are from non-English speaking institutions are required to demonstrate English proficiency. Please consult the Graduate School website for required scores.

Financial Aid
A major source of Financial Aid is through Research Assistantships. These are competitive positions that are funded by research based grants and contracts. A limited number of Teaching Assistantships is also available. Send your resume to the Aerospace and Mechanical Engineering Department to be contacted about open opportunities.
